Co-founded a shiny faceplates business for Technics turntables and scratch mixers
REWORK was a little side project that we helped to brand and run. It was founded by Simon and his scratch-DJ / producer friend UndoSequence (owner of Hebden Bridge Laser Studio).
It was fun times, we mostly sold to American hip-hop DJs but did ship worldwide, we had influencers flogging our stuff in exchange for free Technics faceplates and nearly 1000 followers on Instagram! It was then that I realised I never, ever wanted to manage social media accounts. Even with our shiny plates it was this time-consuming game where you follow someone, like some stuff, they like and follow back and then they unfollow just to keep their follower / following ratio intact.

E-commerce website with Mailchimp integration.
Sub-brand for our Ableton Push dust covers called Second Layer.
Ric did all the product development, I got to work with some nice photography, make some graphics for socials and create an e-commerce website using WordPress, WooCommerce and this theme called Flatsome which looked pretty cool at the time. Make your own mind up as to whether that’s still the case seven years later!
As a graphic designer some of the most interesting jobs were when we got someone who wanted to recreate the special edition Technics SL-1200 Limited badge…
